DESCRIPTION
Tourism and Sports Marketing Division requested Procurement to solicit proposals for the purpose of providing advertising and related marketing services for the Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing.
On July 5, 2018, the Board approved Agreement 18-043, for Advertising and Related Marketing Services with The Zimmerman Agency of, Tallahassee, Florida.
The Agreement provides for an adjustment each year following the first year. Amendment No. 1, approved on September 17, 2019, provided an increase to the flat monthly fee from $20,000 to $27,500. Amendment No. 2, approved on September 21, 2021, provided an increase to the flat monthly fee from $27,500 to $33,000. This Amendment No. 3 will provide an increase to the flat monthly fee from $33,000 to $35,750 for those services provided on or after October 1, 2022.
This amendment incorporates the fee schedule adjustment for FY 22/23.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve Amendment 3 to Contract 18-043, Advertising and Related Marketing Services Agreement with The Zimmerman Agency.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funding is available within the Tourism and Sports Marketing’s operating budget. ($35,750 monthly recurring fee)
