DESCRIPTION
The Tourism & Sports Marketing requested Procurement to solicit proposals for the purpose of providing sales and public relations to promote and market Central Florida’s Polk County, and its tourism related offerings, to travel agents, tour operators, and media outlets in the United Kingdom.
Request for Proposal (RFP) 22-502, United Kingdom ("UK) Public Relations and Sales Representative was issued, and two firms submitted proposals. The selection committee met on Monday, August 15, 2022, to evaluate and score the proposals. After scoring, the consensus of the selection committee was to forgo interviews and to request the Board authorize staff to enter into contract negotiations with all proposers, starting with the highest-ranked proposer, Margaret Henriksson PR Ltd. RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the selection committee’s recommendation and authorize staff to negotiate an agreement, starting with the highest ranked proposer, Margaret Henriksson PR Ltd. for RFP 22-502, United Kingdom Public Relations, and Sales Representative, and moving to the second-highest ranked proposer if negotiations with Margaret Henriksson PR Ltd. are unsuccessful.
