DESCRIPTION

Peace River Center for Personal Development, Inc. (PRC) provides behavioral health services in an office setting and/or via telehealth support. Services are provided to Polk County residents whose income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) guidelines and who are uninsured or not otherwise Polk HealthCare Plan members.

 

This contract will be effective October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2024. A fee schedule has been established to reimburse PRC an agreed upon rate for services.

 

This funding request was presented to and approved by the Citizen’s HealthCare Oversight Committee (COC) at the March 18, 2022 meeting.

 

RECOMMENDATION

Request Board approve the contract with Peace River Center for Personal Development, Inc. to provide behavioral health services to eligible low-income county residents who are not Polk HealthCare Plan members.

 

FISCAL IMPACT

Funds are budgeted in the Indigent Health Care Funds.
