DESCRIPTION
This is an applicant-initiated request to amend the text of the Comprehensive Plan, North Ridge SAP, specifically Policy 2.131-Q4.M, Modified Land Use Categories, Employment Center (ECX) to allow the 15% of the ECX multi family cap to be increased to an unspecified amount with the approval of a Planned Development. However, if parallel connections to two or more intersecting roads to US 27 are construction the 15% cap and limitation on density may be increased to 25 units to the acre rather than through a Planned Development.
State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, which was held on June 1, 2022, with a recommendation for approval (Vote 7:0). This request was transmittal to the Department of Economic Opportunity on June 21, 2022. This is the adoption hearing
