DESCRIPTION

The County has contracted with Parkview Outreach Community Center, Inc. (Parkview) effective October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2023. Parkview provides medical services including, but not limited to, primary care, specialty care, ancillary and diagnostic services to eligible low-income county residents.

The first amendment to the contract will increase annual funding from $175,238 to $214,112 (an additional $38,874) and extend the contract for an additional two years taking the term of the contract to September 30, 2025. Funding is provided on a cost-based reimbursement for salaries and fringe, program direct services and operation expenses. The increase in funding to Parkview will allow them to add two part-time Medical Assistants, Electronic Medical Records, and add available services including women’s health and psychiatric services via telehealth.

This funding increase request was presented to and approved by the Citizen’s HealthCare Oversight Committee (COC) at the March 18, 2022 meeting.
