DESCRIPTION
Approve the CDBG subrecipient agreement between Polk County and The City of Auburndale. Funds will be used to construct a sidewalk on Green Street and Center Street, and the continuation of projects from last year: to purchase lots for Affordable Housing Development/Donate to Non- Profit Housing Provider, a Parking Facility, mast arm construction, and to purchase and install a backup generator. This agreement, in the amount of $390,159.68 (current allocation FY 22/23 $88,250.00, in addition to carryover from FY 21/22 $88,250.00, in addition to $25,200.00 from Town of Dundee allocation FY 21/22 (additional reimbursement for FY 19/20), carryover from FY 20/21 $87,000.00 in addition to $23,000.00 from Town of Dundee (initial reimbursement for FY 19/20), carryover FY 18/19 $78,459.68) will be ratified from October 1, 2022 and will expire on September 30, 2023. The Board of County Commissioners approved this by adoption of the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Action Plan on July 5, 2022.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve this CDBG subrecipient agreement and Budget Amendment.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the Special Revenue Grant Fund.
