DESCRIPTION
The Utilities Division’s Solar Power Master Plan was completed by Tetra Tech, Inc. in July 2023. Based on the information in Tetra Tech’s master plan report, the County is pursuing the implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) technologies with existing facility infrastructure. These efforts will promote the use of renewable energy sources, improve reliability, and offset some, or all, of the facility’s current power consumption. The aforementioned master plan evaluated 10 County facilities for potential PV implementation. The County has requested the Consultant to provide services for a pilot program that will consist of two of the 10 facilities evaluated, Cherry Hill Water Production Facility and the Utilities Administration Building. The Consultant will provide project management, support services, final design, permitting, and bid phase services in support of the project.
