DESCRIPTION
In 2023, the County Manager requested as part of the State Legislative Priorities, the replacement of 1 (one) 400KW generator located at the Polk County Utilities Administration Building. On April 12, 2024, the County received the agreement # F0127 for the appropriation of pass-through funding in the amount of $220,000 from the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve and execute grant agreement # F0127 with the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management from the funds in specific appropriation 2710, $220,000 in nonrecurring capital outlay funds provided to the Polk County Board of County Commissioners for the Polk County Utilities Administration Generator Replacement Project.
