DESCRIPTION
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is currently in design for the signalization of the Mt. Olive Road @ SR 33 intersection. The FDOT is using the engineering firm DRMP for the design work on this project. County staff has met with the FDOT and DRMP to coordinate the addition of a right turn lane onto Mt. Olive Road. This CSA will allow DRMP to design the right turn at a not-to-exceed fee of $96,005.00, as detailed in “Exhibit A”.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve CSA No. 22-086-04 with DRMP, Inc. at a cost not-to-exceed $96,005.00 for the Mt. Olive Road @ SR 33 Intersection Improvement Project, CIP Amendment to establish the project in the Roads and Drainage CIP and budget transfer.
FISCAL IMPACT
Upon approval of the CIP Amendment, Funds in the amount of $96,005.00 will be transferred from the Transportation Impact Fee Zone A, Reserve for Future Capital to the Mt. Olive Road @ SR 33 intersection improvement CIP Project.
