body
DESCRIPTION
The Trident-Davenport, LLC has property on Sand Mine Road that they were proposing to develop. In discussions with the County, it was discussed that the developer designing and constructing the intersection improvements, at the intersection of Hwy 27 and Sand Mine Road, were beyond the requirements for development approval. In good faith, the developer moved forward with the design and permitting of the improvements. The County continued to work on an agreement for reimbursement by Impact Fee Credits or cash for the design, permitting, and construction of the improvements.
In January 2024, the County was contacted by the developer, stating that due to the economy they were not sure if or when they would be moving forward with their development project. Resulting in the attached agreement to allow the County to reimburse the developer for the design and permitting work that they had previously completed and are working to complete the final.
