DESCRIPTION
Since the declaration of the Fire Department Burn Ban 24-01, the atmospheric and fire hazard conditions have increased the chances of brush of fires and uncontrolled fires throughout Polk County. More than 50% of Polk County is averaging over 500 on the Keetch-Bryam Drought Index.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt the resolution approving Fire Department Burn Ban 24-01.
