DESCRIPTION
On November 21, 2023, the Board approved CSA No. 22-081-02 with the Consultant to provide CEI services during the construction of the US 27 @ Four Corners Blvd Intersection Improvement Project at a cost not-to-exceed fee $75,619.50. Construction began on March 20, 2024. Originally it was assumed that construction would be completed within two months. However, after reviewing the Contractor’s schedule and work progress, it is apparent that additional time will be needed to complete construction. This CSA modification is needed to allow the Consultant to provide CEI staff on the project until the Contractor is complete with construction. This will increase the contract amount by $49,040.00 and will bring the not-to-exceed cost to a new total of $124,659.50.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve Modification No. 1 to CSA No. 22-081-02 with the Consultant, resulting in a new total contract amount of $124,659.50 for the US 27 @ Four Corners Blvd Intersection Improvement Project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available within the Roads and Drainage CIP in the Transportation Millage Fund.
