DESCRIPTION
In accordance with Polk County Utilities’ Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Master Plan and related initiatives, the Utilities Division continues to leverage technologies to improve operational efficiencies. This project is for the upgrade of obsolete SCADA control systems at the Southwest Regional WWTF which includes the primary and chemical control panels, onsite lift station, and three remote I/O panels and replacing fiber and networking equipment. These upgrades will increase system reliability and optimize operations. The County has requested that Revere Control System, Inc. provide these installation services in support of the project.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve Agreement 22-103, Work Authorization No. 18 with Revere Control Systems, Inc. for the Southwest Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Control Systems upgrade project in the amount of $404,015.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted in the Utilities Capital Expansion Fund within the Utilities Division five-year CIP in the WWTF SCADA Controls Upgrades project.
