DESCRIPTION
The Clerk of the Circuit Courts & Comptroller’s Office requested Procurement solicit proposals from qualified audit firms interested in providing annual financial auditing services for the Board, Clerk of Courts, Property Appraiser, Sheriff, Supervisor of Elections, and Tax Collector.
Request for Proposal (RFP) 24-402, Annual Financial Auditing Services was issued, and seven firms submitted proposals. On July 16, 2024, the Board approved the selection committee’s recommendation and authorized staff to enter negotiate with the highest ranked firm, Clifton Larson Allen LLP.
The attached agreement is the result of those negotiations. Annual rate increases or additional similar scope of work services may be negotiated on an individual project basis with approval by both the Clerk of the Court & Comptroller and County Manager.
The initial term of the agreement is for 5 years and may automatically renew for an additional 3-year term unless terminated earlier in accordance with the agreement. Negotiated professional fees for annual auditing services are as follows:
