body
DESCRIPTION
On March 5, 2024, the Board approved piggyback agreement 2024-032 with Routeware for the purchase and installation software, front facing cameras, and GPS equipment on the 9 trucks Waste and Recycling is leasing to provide waste collection services for approximately 1,300 residents in the southern portion of County starting October 1, 2024. During the installation process, it was determined that dual facing cameras would be more advantageous to allow for monitoring both the road and inside of the cab of the truck.
This Amendment 1 will modify the scope of work to include the purchase and installation of 10 dual facing cameras. Nine cameras will be installed on the leased trucks, and one is for the route supervisor vehicle. The annual cost that includes software subscriptions, maintenance, and support will not change.
