DESCRIPTION
The Facilities Management Division requested Procurement to solicit bids from qualified roofing contractors who were interested in retrofitting the existing animal control north and south kennel roofs with a new Duro-Last roof system located at 7115 DeCastro Road, Winter Haven, FL.
This project is a part of the Facilities Management FY23/24 ten year asset management program. Due to age of the roof and its existing condition, this retrofit project will allow roof protection of these facilities for next 20 plus years.
Bid 24-352, Sheriff’s Office Animal Control North & South Kennels - Roof Replacement was issued, and 3 contractors submitted bids. The lowest responsive bid was submitted by Robert Binns Roofing, Inc.

A recommendation of award was issued to Robert Binns Roofing, Inc., and no protests were received.
