DESCRIPTION
On March 04, 2022, the County Manager approved CSA No. 17-056-06 with the Consultant at a cost of $41,655.60 to perform an Alternatives Analysis for improvements to the intersection of CR 630 at CR 630A. The Alternatives Analysis is complete, and the single lane roundabout alternative was selected.
On August 08, 2023, the Board approved CSA No. 22-093-01 with the Consultant to provide final design services for the project at a not to exceed cost of $130,523.00.
An amendment to the Scope of Services is needed to incorporate changes to the roadway plans, perform structural detailing for modifications to an existing concrete box culvert, additional utility coordination, and real estate services support at a not-to-exceed cost of $45,115.31. Details are attached in “Exhibit A”, resulting in a new total contract amount of $175,638.31.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve Modification No. 1 to CSA No. 2022-093-01 with the Consultant and increase the contract amount by $45,115.31, for the CR 630 at CR 630A Intersection Improvements project, resulting in a new total contract amount of $175,638.31.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Transportation Impact Fee District B Fund.
