DESCRIPTION
The Utilities Division requested Procurement to solicit proposals from qualified contractors who can provide planned maintenance and emergency repairs to water/wastewater plants, and pump stations located throughout Polk County. Services include, but are not limited to, repair of ruptured water mains, service laterals, meter sets, minor force mains and reclaimed water mains.
Request for Proposal (RFP) 24-246, Utilities Constructions Services was issued, and two contractors submitted proposals. The Selection Committee met on July 3, 2024, to evaluate and score the proposals. Both contractors were elevated for interviews. On July 23, 2024, the selection committee conducted interviews and received presentations from the contractors. After the interviews, the consensus of the selection committee was to request the Board authorize staff to enter into negotiations with Killebrew, Inc. and RTD Construction, Inc.

Request Board approve the selection committee’s recommendation and authorize staff to enter into negotiations with Killebrew, Inc. and RTD Construction, Inc. for RFP 24-246, Utilities Construction Services.

There is no fiscal impact during negotiations.
