DESCRIPTION
This is an applicant-initiated LDC text amendment to Section 2.135K permitting the Institutional (INST) land use in the Transit Supportive Development Area (TSDA). State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, which will be held on August 7, 2024, with a recommendation of approval.
Section 163.3202, Florida Statutes (F.S.) requires the Board to adopt Land Development Code (LDC) regulations consistent with the implementation of the Polk County Comprehensive Plan. Amendments to the LDC require two public hearings before the Board to be adopted.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board set the first reading on September 3, 2024, at 9:15 a.m., and the second reading on September 17, 2024, at 9:15 a.m.
