DESCRIPTION
A Public Hearing is required to consider the adoption of an ordinance amending Polk County Ordinance 2018-073, the Polk County Government’s Retiree Insurance Benefits Ordinance, as amended. The proposed ordinance would allow Under-65 Retirees who retired prior to November 20, 2018, to elect, for a limited period, to cease participation in the group health insurance plan, enter into Inactive Status, and re-enroll one time at a later date.
RECOMMENDATION
Set a public hearing on September 3, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. for purposes of considering adoption of an ordinance amending Polk County Ordinance 2018-073, the Polk County Government’s Retiree Insurance Benefits Ordinance, as amended.
FISCAL IMPACT
No fiscal impact will be realized by setting the hearing.
