DESCRIPTION

Tri-County Human Services, Inc. (TCHS) provides behavioral health services in an office setting and/or via telehealth support. Services are provided to Polk County residents whose income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level guidelines.

Currently, the contract is effective October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2024. A fee schedule has been established to reimburse TCHS an agreed upon rate for services. The first amendment allowed for additional reimbursable services. This second amendment will extend the term of the contract to September 30, 2026, and allows TCHS to be reimbursed for medications provided to Polk HealthCare Plan members when the medication(s) are not covered under the pharmacy benefit.

This funding request was presented to and approved by the Citizen’s HealthCare Oversight Committee.

RECOMMENDATION
