DESCRIPTION
The Communications Division, along with Health & Human Services Division, requested Procurement solicit proposals for the purpose of selecting a qualified firm to provide specific or targeted marketing services to include, but not limited to, community outreach, social media advertisement, creative services, along with research to promote the Polk HealthCare Plan. The County has expanded the Polk HealthCare Plan, which is funded through the County’s half cent sales surtax, to meet the growing needs of the County’s uninsured, lower income population.
Request for proposal (RFP) 24-178, Related Marketing Services for Indigent Health Care Programs was issued, and six vendors submitted proposals. On June 4, 2024, the Board authorized staff to enter negotiations with all proposers interviewed starting with the highest ranked proposer, Vistra Communications, LLC.
When services are needed, the Communications and/or Health & Human Services project manager will work with the firm to develop a detailed scope of work, timeline, and maximum compensation.
The term of this agreement shall be for a 5-year time-period.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve agreement with the Vistra Communications, LLC for advertising and related marketing services for Indigent Health Care programs for an estimated annual recurring amount of $100,000.00.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funding is available within the Indigent Health Care fund.
