DESCRIPTION
Approve the CDBG subrecipient agreement between Polk County and the City of Winter Haven, for the Winter Haven Neighborhood Service Center Renovation project. CDBG funds will be used for but not limited to design and engineering costs, site work, safety improvements, and other construction costs to improve the facility which has deteriorated over the years. The City of Winter Haven will use CDBG funds for the above activities in the amount not to exceed $279,221.00. This project was approved by the Board of County Commissioners by adoption of the Fiscal Year 2024- 2025 Action Plan on July 2, 2024.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve and execute this Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) subrecipient agreement between Polk County and the City of Winter Haven.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in Special Revenue Grant Fund.
