DESCRIPTION
Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing (PCTSM) recruits state, regional, national, international, & local organizations, partnering and managing special events to enhance the economic climate of Polk County. The attached agreement is PCTSM partnering with Theatre Winter Haven, Inc. to act as an "Official Sponsor" of seven events (Ritz Brunch Series, Ritz Tribute Tuesdays, Ritz Variety Series Season 55, TWH Second Stage Series 55, TWH Professional Series Season 55, TWH Summer Musical Season 55, and TWH MainStage Season 55) occurring during FY 24/25. ($324,047 one-time expense).
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approval of the investment and execute the referenced Cooperative Sponsorship Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the Tourism Tax Fund.
