DESCRIPTION

This is a County-initiated Small-Scale Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment to change the Future Land Use (FLU) designation from Residential Low (RL) to Recreation/Open Space (ROS) at the Crystal Lake Park, located at 2500 North Crystal Lake Drive, west of Combee Road, northwest of Skyview Drive, southwest of Mount Airy Avenue, east of the City of Lakeland in Section 21, Township 28, Range 24.

State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, which was held on September 4, 2024, with a recommendation for approval (7:0).
