DESCRIPTION
Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing (PCTSM) recruits state, regional, national, international, & local organizations, partnering and managing special events to enhance the economic climate of Polk County. The attached agreement is PCTSM partnering with Lake Wales Arts Council, Inc. to act as an "Official Sponsor" of four events (Fall for the Arts, Creative Cool, Art Springs Eternal, and Studio Summer) occurring during FY 24/25. ($223,219 one-time expense)
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approval of the investment and execute the referenced Cooperative Sponsorship Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the Tourism Tax Fund.
