DESCRIPTION
Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing (PCTSM) recruits state, regional, national, international, & local organizations, partnering and managing special events to enhance the economic climate of Polk County. The attached agreement is PCTSM partnering with Bok Tower Gardens, Inc. to act as an "Official Sponsor" of four events (Fall into the Gardens, Holidays at Bok Tower Gardens, Spring Bloom at Bok Tower Gardens, and Summer Fun at Bok Tower Gardens) occurring during FY 24/25. ($236,136 one-time expense).
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approval of the investment and execute the referenced Cooperative Sponsorship Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the Tourism Tax Fund.
