Summary:
FDOT will provide a brief update on the referenced PD&E Study which is getting underway for the extension of SunRail into Polk County. A summary of what the PD&E Study will accomplish includes the following:
• Refine the recommended alternative identified during the TCAR Study (2023);
• Develop preliminary design concepts;
• Forecast rider demand;
• Environmental review; and
• Develop capital and operating cost estimates.
