SET HEARING: (LDCPAS-2024-25 Boy Scout Road RCC CPA) to consider the adoption of a Small-Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the Future Land Use designation on 6.5+/- acres from Agricultural/Residential-Rural (A/RR) to Rural Cluster Center (RCC) and change the text of Section 2.135 of the Comprehensive Plan to allow for the adoption of the State Road 60 & Boy Scout Road RCC Activity Center Plan (ACP) and in the Rural Development Area (RDA). The suggested adoption hearing date is February 18, 2025, at 9:15 a.m.

DESCRIPTION
This is an applicant-initiated request for property located on the northeast corner of the Boy Scout Road and the State Road (SR) 60 intersection, east of the City of Lake Wales, in Section 8, Township 30, Range 29. State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, which was held on December 4, 2024, with a recommendation for approval by a 5:2 vote.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board set the adoption hearing date for February 18, 2025, at 9:15 a.m.
