DESCRIPTION
The North Central Landfill North Scalehouse handles up to 500 transactions per day, from those, an average of 350 residential ("mom & pop") and small commercial customers dispose their waste at the Transfer Station. In order to promote safety, efficiency and a better customer experience, a Community Investment Program project (5500047) was approved to construct a citizen's convenience center (CCC), add a new scale, upgrade the scalehouse and improve the site storm water management system. In order to do that, specific permits from local, state and federal regulatory agencies are required. Consultant will provide professional design and permitting services necessary to perform those improvements. Services include geotechnical evaluation, permit-level design drawings, development of an ERP minor modification application, as well as Polk County Land Development Services and Building permit applications.

Request approval for Consultant Services Agreement 21-026 between Polk County and Stearns, Conrad & Schmidt, Consulting Engineers, Inc.
