The Facilities Management Division requested Procurement solicit proposals from qualified firms for a new northeast regional utilities operations facility to include administrative offices, a parts warehouse, and a fleet maintenance shop. The building will include a parts warehouse for Utilities operations and work bays for the Fleet Division to expand their ability to serve county vehicles, as well. The additional warehouse space planned for the facility will help to reduce drive time for operations staff. This project provides a more regionalized approach to serving the largest of the utilities division's six service areas. Regional field staff will also be stationed in the new facility during major weather events to provide more efficient emergency response.
