DESCRIPTION
On March 1st, 2022, the Board approved CSA No. 17-056-05 with the Consultant at a cost of $93,429.00 to perform professional engineering services for roadway and signalization improvements at the intersection of Marigold Avenue and Hemlock Avenue. The roadway work is complete, and the signalization work is on-going.
An amendment to the Scope of Services is needed to incorporate changes to the signalization plans, including checks to the structural calculations and additional post design services at a not-to-exceed cost of $10,663.00. Details are attached in “Exhibit A”, resulting in a new total contract amount of $104,092.00.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve Modification No. 1 to CSA No. 17-056-05 with the Consultant and increase the contract amount by $10,663.00, for the Marigold Avenue at Hemlock Avenue Signalization project, resulting in a new total contract amount of $104,092.00.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Transportation Impact Fee Zone C Fund.
