DESCRIPTION
The Fitzgerald Road at State Road 37 Intersection Improvements Project is included in the FY 2024-2025 CIP for the Roads & Drainage Division. A new intersection layout is needed at the intersection of Fitzgerald Road and State Road 37 to add more capacity to the traffic that travels westbound from Fitzgerald Road. County staff has negotiated a CSA with the Consultant to provide design services for this Project.
This CSA provides for professional engineering services to perform a traffic study, roadway design, utility coordination, subsurface utility exploration (SUE), permitting, sidewalk and drainage design and plan preparation. The Consultant is to perform these services at a total not-to-exceed fee of $165,894.70 and will be completed in accordance with the project schedule and compensation as detailed in "Exhibit A".
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve CSA No. 22-095-04 with the Consultant at not-to-exceed fee of $165,894.70 for the Fitzgerald Rd at State Road 37 Intersection Improvements Project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Transportation Millage Fund.
