DESCRIPTION
On January 7, 2025, the Polk County Board of County Commissioners passed Resolution No. 25-002 and Resolution 25-003. Resolution No. 25-002 was a HUD grant as a result of the County's CIP FDC Grove Road/Northridge Flyover Project in connection with the HUD Funded Grant. Resolution No. 25-003 was a HUD grant as a result of the County's CIP Sidewalk Project in connection with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Funded Grant.
The revised appropriation figure for the Polk County CIP Sidewalk Project was the initial figure in the FDC Grove Road/Northridge Flyover Bridge Agreement. However, the resolutions were presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Polk County in the improper order as the FDC Grove Road/Northridge Flyover Bridge Agreement (No 25-002) was introduced first despite relying on the revised budget found in the Polk County Children and Pedestrian Safety Project Agreement resolution (No. 25-003). This amendment lays out the FY 24/25 additional revenues in the proper order.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve and adopt the Resolution amending Polk County Resolution No. 25-002 and Resolution No. 25-003 clarifying the FY 24/25 budget after receiving grants from U.S. HUD.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact to the County.
