Accept a Perpetual Joint Use Drainage Easement in conjunction with the North Ridge Trail Extension Infrastructure Agreement. (No fiscal impact)

DESCRIPTION
In December 2024 DHIC - Citrus Ridge, LLC (the “Developer”) entered into an Infrastructure Agreement with Polk County regarding the construction of a portion of a planned transportation facility known as North Ridge Trail from Poitras Road Two southward to Legacy Park Boulevard. As part of the Agreement the Developer agreed grant a drainage easement to the County for a storm water management facility, identified as Pond 3 in the agreement, associated with the roadway improvements. The Developer has executed and delivered a Perpetual Joint Use Drainage Easement for the storm water pond. Accepting the aforementioned Perpetual Joint Use Drainage Easements will give the county the easement needed for the storm water pond associated with the proposed roadway improvements.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board accept the aforementioned Perpetual Joint Use Drainage Easement.
