DESCRIPTION
The restated Polk County Waterway Protection Code was recently adopted by the Board. Subsequent to the adoption, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission asked staff to make changes to the language. As a result of that review, staff also realized that the repeal of Ordinance 91-13 was not clear in Ordinance 2025-032. This Ordinance removes the requested language and clarifies the repeal of Ordinance 91-13, as amended.
RECOMMENDATION
Set public hearing to consider the adoption of an Ordinance of the Polk County Board of County Commissioners revising Ordinance 2025-032, to remove certain language and to clarify the repeal of Ordinance 91-13.
