DESCRIPTION
This is an applicant request for a Small-Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment LDCPAS-2026-15) to change the Future Land Use Designation from Institutional (INST) to Residential Suburban (RS) in the Suburban Development Area (SDA). The site is located west of Kathleen Road, south side of Glisson Drive, north of Pine Avenue NW, and east of the CSX Rail Line, northwest of the City of Lakeland, in Section 20, Township 27, Range 23. State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, which will be held on October 7, 2026, with a recommendation for approval (Vote: 7:0).
