Authorize the County Attorney’s Office and County staff to take the necessary actions to prevent commercial truck traffic on Bryant Road and adopt Resolution Setting Truck Restrictions on Bryant Road (near Lakeland).

DESCRIPTION
Polk County Roads & Drainage received complaints from property owners of possible use of Bryant Road by commercial trucks for a development in the area. The development currently has two access points from nearby Moore Road and the use of Bryant Road would be incompatible with the normal and safe movement of traffic on Bryant Road and would severely damage Bryant Road.
FS 316.008 allows local governments to prohibit or regulate the use of certain roadways by any class or kind of traffic found to be incompatible with the normal and safe movement of traffic.
