DESCRIPTION
The Roads and Drainage Division requested Procurement to solicit bids from qualified contractors who were interested in constructing drainage improvements adjacent to King Boulevard which is located within the Lakeview Park Subdivision. The work primarily consists of constructing a new storm-sewer within the existing ditch system and reconstructing a segment of the ditch located on the west side of King Boulevard and stretches in a northerly direction to Lake Clinch. The ditch reconstruction will restore the ditch limits within the existing drainage easement dedicated to the public.
Bid 24-516, King Blvd. Drainage Improvement Project - ARP was issued, and three contractors submitted bids. The lowest responsive bid was submitted by Cobb Site Development, Inc.

A recommendation of award was issued to Cobb Site Development, Inc., and no protests were received. In accordance with Resolution No. 13-066, $35,842.00 was added to the contract for allowance work for a total contract amount of $752,700.80. The contract time for this project is 90 days to final completion. Allowance time for the project is 13 days.
This project is fully funded through the American Rescue Plan through the United States Department of Treasury.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve a construction contract with Cobb Site Development, Inc. in the amount of $752,700.80 for Bid 24-516, King Blvd. Drainage Improvement Project - ARP and a CIP Amendment and budget transfer in the amount of $427,701.00.
FISCAL IMPACT
To make the project whole and upon approval of the CIP Amendment, a transfer will be completed from Armstrong/ Pipkin/Old Medulla ARP CIP Project the in the amount of $407,701.00.
