Accept instruments for additional right-of-way along Old Tampa Highway, Lake Harris Dr., 10th Street North, CR 542 and Martin Luther King Boulevard as requested through the Development Review Process. (No fiscal impact)

DESCRIPTION

As a result of proposed development adjacent to a County roadway, the County, through its Development Review Process has requested additional right-of-way in order to bring the rights-of-way adjacent to the subject sites up to current road classification standards. The owners have executed and delivered instruments to Polk County for the additional right-of-way.

Accepting the following instruments will give the County the right-of-way needed to upgrade the existing rights-of-way to meet current road classification standards.

 

1.                     Quit Claim Deed from Cemex Construction Materials Florida, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company for additional right-of-way along Old Tampa Highway, in conjunction with a proposed commercial development. The subject right-of-way lies in Section 21, Township 28 South, Range 23 East.

 

2.                     Quit Claim Deed from Amana Realty LLC, a Florida limited liability company, for additional right-of-way along Lake Harris Drive, in conjunction with a proposed residential development.  The subject right-of-way lies in Section 12, Township 29 South, Range 23 East.

 

3.                     Quit Claim Deed from Landmark 99 LLC, a Florida limited liability company, for additional right-of-way along 10th Street North, in conjunction with a proposed residential development.  The subject right-of-way lies in Section 08, Township 27 South, Range 27 East.

 

4.                     Quit Claim Deed from Old Dixie 1129, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, for additional right-of way along CR 542 (K-Ville Road), in conjunction with a proposed residential development.  The subject right-of way lies in Section 22, Township 28 South, Range 25 East.

 

5.                     Quit Claim Deed from Jeffrey D. Yeager and Joann Yeager, husband and wife, for additional right-of-way along Martin Luther King Boulevard, in conjunction with a proposed residential development.  The subject right-of-way lies in Section 15, Township 28 South, Range 26 East.

 

RECOMMENDATION

Request Board accept the afore-mentioned Quit Claim Deeds.
