DESCRIPTION
The Roads and Drainage Division requested Procurement solicit bids from qualified contractors for the construction of intersection improvements at CR 540 Cypress Gardens Road at Lake Ned Road.
This project consists of constructing a modern roundabout at the intersection of Cypress Gardens Road and Lake Ned Road in Winter Haven, Florida. The work includes associated roadway, drainage, signage, pavement markings, and related infrastructure improvements necessary to enhance safety, improve traffic operations, and provide an acceptable level of service on all approaches.
Bid 26-218, CR 540 Cypress Gardens Road at Lake Ned Road Intersection Improvements project was issued, and ten contractors submitted a bid. CM Engineering Services Florida, PLLC was deemed non-responsive.

RECOMMENDATION

FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Roads and Drainage 5-year CIP within the Transportation Trust Fund.
