DESCRIPTION
This is a County-initiated request to consider the adoption of a Small-Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the Future Land Use designation from Residential Low (RL) to Recreation/Open Space (ROS) at the Lake Cannon Park. The property is located at 1508 West Lake Cannon Drive, east of NW 26th Street, north of NW Avenue J, south of State Road 544, south and west of Winter Haven in Section 24, Township 28, Range 25. State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, which was held on October 2, 2024, with a recommendation for approval by a 6:0.
