DESCRIPTION

In September 2023, the County began operating the Cherry Hill pilot-scale DPR facility.  The current Cherry Hill pilot-scale DPR facility treats approximately 10 gallons per minute of reclaimed water from the Northwest Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility and the treated water is discharged back into the wastewater system.  The ongoing operational support referenced in this scope of services is intended to collect sufficient operational data for the pilot to meet Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s (FDEP) requirements under the latest DPR rules.

The County is interested in offering samples of the DPR water to drink during tours of the pilot facility as part of the outreach program.  As a result of the complied data, the Consultant will submit a final report to FDEP for its review of the Cherry Hill DPR project.  Public Outreach and a concept-level design with preliminary estimated costs are also included with these services; the County has requested the Consultant provide the referenced services.
