DESCRIPTION
The County entered into an agreement with Kisinger, Campo & Associates on June 7, 2022, to provide professional engineering services for the Palmer Road drainage improvement project which includes a drainage study to provide solutions to the existing flooding along Palmer Road, Cherokee Road, and Gardenia Road during heavy rainstorms in the amount of $130,050.76.
A drainage study was done to provide potential outfall pond sites for these roads within the existing County right of ways. The drainage study was to include three alternative pond sites where the stormwater during heavy storm events could be redirected. Alternative Pond C site was selected as the preferred site to be designed. On August 22, 2023, Amendment #1 in the amount of $308,027.11 was approved by the Board to allow the consultant to perform design services, including, roadway, drainage, and traffic control plans, environmental permitting, erosion control, attend public meetings, develop construction bid specifications, construction cost estimates, and post design services. This brought the total project to a not-to-exceed cost of $438,077.87.
This Amendment #2 is to add and incorporate the Schedule of Rates and Multiplier Calculations to Exhibit B “Fee Schedule” which was inadvertently omitted from the original Agreement dated June 7, 2022.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve Amendment #2 to Agreement 2022-043 with Kisinger Campo & Associates, for Palmer Road drainage improvement project.
