DESCRIPTION
This is an applicant-initiated request for a LDC text amendment to amend Chapter 4, Section 401.01, I-4/NE Parkway Plan Districts, to remove outdated development criteria and requirements. State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, which was held on March 5, 2025, with a recommendation of approval by a 7/0 vote.
Section 163.3202, Florida Statutes (F.S.) requires the Board to adopt Land Development Code (LDC) regulations consistent with the implementation of the Polk County Comprehensive Plan. Amendments to the LDC require two public hearings before the Board to be adopted.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board set for the first reading on April 1, 2025, at 9:15 a.m., and the second reading on April 15, 2025, at 9:15 a.m.
