DESCRIPTION
On December 8, 1998, the Board approved the initial contract to partner with The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida, Healthy Families Florida to support Healthy Families Polk.
The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida is providing a statewide one-time non-recurring staff stabilization increase to program sites for Fiscal Year FY 23-24. Amendment #0011 will amend the Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida Subcontract Amendment effective July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2025. The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida is providing a one-time non-recurring revenue increase of $137,552.55 to Fiscal Year FY 23-24. The one-time non-recurring revenue will provide a one-time salary adjustment payment in the amount of 10% of the annual base salaries for Family Support Specialists and Family Engagement Specialists hired prior to July 7, 2023. This is a single one-time payment and will not affect base salaries.
In addition, Amendment #0011 provided changes to contract language, staffing titles, attachments, and associated funding changes.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approval of Amendment #0011, between The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida, Healthy Families Florida, and approval of transfer from the Special Revenue Grant Fund Reserve for Contingency
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available for transfer from the Special Revenue Grant Fund Reserve for Contingency.
