DESCRIPTION
The Workforce Innovative and Opportunity Act requires opportunities with Workforce and Education Programs partners to deliver high-quality, efficient skills development and employment services. The Florida Department of Education requires the school district to partner with its local workforce development board.
The organizations are required to enter a Memorandum of Understanding aligning resources that are outlined through the attached Infrastructure Agreement. These formalized agreements must be in place to access grants from the Florida Department of Education.
RECOMMENDATION
Recommend Board of County Commissioners approve the Memorandum of Understanding with attached Infrastructure Agreement.
