DESCRIPTION
On October 2, 2018, the Board approved the FEMA HMGP applications for Polk County BOCC, FRS / EMS Stations Auxiliary Power Generators. On October 7, 2020, The Florida Division of Emergency Management FEMA HMGP informed staff that the project grant award has been approved and provided a grant agreement for acceptance and signature approval by the County. On November 17, 2020, the Board approved and executed a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funding Agreement for Project #: 4337-0422-R, Polk County BOCC, FRS / EMS Stations Auxiliary Power Generators, Contract #H0510 between The Florida Division of Emergency Management FEMA HMGP and Polk County.
On August 3, 2023, approval was provided for Modification No. One (1) to a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funding Agreement for Project #: 4337-0422-R, Polk County BOCC, FRS / EMS Stations Auxiliary Power Generators, Contract #H0510 between The Florida Division of Emergency Management FEMA HMGP and Polk County. On May 31, 2024, approval of Modification No. Two (2) to a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funding Agreement for Project #: 4337-0422-R, Polk County BOCC, FRS / EMS Stations Auxiliary Power Generators, Contract #H0510 between The Florida Division of Emergency Management FEMA HMGP and Polk County provides an amendment to increase the Federal Funding. Period of Performance for this project shall end on July 31, 2024.
