DESCRIPTION
Staff is submitting three appropriation requests to include in the Board’s 2026 Federal Legislative Priorities. The Board's adopted 2026 Federal Legislative Priorities will guide lobbying efforts to advance these requests for consideration in the Federal Fiscal Year 2027 budget.
Legislative appropriation requests submitted include:
1. Kathleen Road Widening and Extension
2. Polk County Poinciana Area Sidewalk Needs
3. Protection of Critical Infrastructure Through Proactive Construction

RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approval of the 2026 Federal Legislative Priorities for Polk County.
