DESCRIPTION
The Fleet Management Division currently utilizes Syn-Tech Systems FuelMaster software to automate, secure and monitor the County’s 12 fuel sites’ inventory and fleet transactions in real-time. The software provides detailed fuel usage reporting, prevents unauthorized access, and tracks tank levels.
The attached piggyback agreement will enable Fleet Management to continue to use the software through November 18, 2031.
The County belongs to the Sourcewell Cooperative, which has enabled us to piggyback the agreement that was solicited on behalf of the cooperative. Sourcewell solicited Request for Proposal (#081524), resulting in an agreement with Syn-Tech Systems.
There are no local vendors that provide these services.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve cooperative agreement with Syn-Tech Systems, Inc. to use their FuelMaster software. ($150,000 estimated annual expense)
FISCAL IMPACT
Funding is available within Fleet Maintenance Fund.
